Tiffanie Ireland
Messenger Bird Collective, Founder and Director
Tiffanie Ireland is a Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay woman, and the Founder and Director of Messenger Bird Collective. With more than 17 years’ experience across corporate, government and consulting environments, Tiffanie brings both lived and professional experience to her work in Indigenous employment. Her recent research explored the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees working in ASX100 corporations, informed by her own early career within major organisations including Qantas and Westpac. Tiffanie now works with organisations across Australia to improve how they employ and support Indigenous people. She cares deeply about getting Indigenous employment right not just in strategy or on paper, but in the everyday experience of Indigenous people at work. Her work is grounded in lived experience, research and an understanding of what it takes to make change work in practice.
