Across Australia, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, not-for-profits and private enterprises form the Indigenous employment and training sector. Together, the sector supports Indigenous learners and jobseekers to access education, training and meaningful career opportunities. The sector plays a critical role in connecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to sustainable employment, and in shaping systems that are culturally grounded, responsive and built for lasting change.

We lead Indigenous-driven research that captures real experiences, systemic challenges and opportunities across the employment and training sector. Our work is grounded in both evidence and culture, turning insight into action. Through our research, we amplify lived realities and generate knowledge that strengthens policy, practice, and capability – driving systemic change.
Capability Resources
We turn research into action by creating practical resources that strengthen the Indigenous employment and training sector. Our guides, frameworks, training programs and tools support providers, employers and communities to build the skills and knowledge needed to achieve lasting outcomes for Indigenous jobseekers and employees.
Policy & Practice Influence
We work with the sector, governments, and industry to embed research findings into policy and everyday practices. By shaping systems that is responsive, culturally safe, and effective, we turn evidence into action that improves outcomes for Indigenous people.
Systemic Change
Our ultimate goal is long-term, systemic change that improves Indigenous employment outcomes and builds stronger futures. By influencing both practice and national policy, we create a sector that is resilient, innovative, and community-led.
