The National Indigenous Employment and Training Alliance (The Alliance) are hosting The Alliance Conference 2026 in Meanjin (Brisbane) this November.

The Alliance Conference (TAC) is Australia’s only national conference convened by an Indigenous-led peak body, dedicated exclusively to First Nations employment and training. It serves to bring together First Nations organisations, employers, government and sector leaders, where they can share ideas and explore practical solutions. As a result, creating longer lasting employment outcomes for Aboringinal and Torres Strait Islander people.

2026’s theme is “Pathways to Impact: Driving Indigenous Employment Outcomes”, focuses on turning conversations into actions. At this dynamic, one-day program, those in attendance will hear Indigenous perspectives and learn from organisations that focus on delivering meaningful change. Attendees will further gain practical strategies which can strengthen recruitment, retention, and career pathways.

The Conference concludes with The Alliance Conference Dinner Celebration.
